Progress

So I've made progress. I have to say that the best asset I have  as my competitive edge is an engineer for a husband! He sees things so differently than I do. It really helps me figure out a much more logical way to handle technical and organizational issues. Somehow God knew I needed that :)!

So this weekend...progress has been made! Not only am I organized, as I mentioned before, but my fax and scanning systems are setup, Outlook is installed, and my calendar has been integrated. I now can keep all of my receipts, agreements, legal docs, etc in a completely digital file cabinet. Space savings to the rescue! I also have integrated my backup system in the event that a hard drive craps out on me....and we all have SO been there, done that. Not fun.

Now, to learn my outlook and database management system. This thing is sweet. It has all the gadgets and whistles I needed to make my workflow efficient for contact management, notes, profile updates, labels, calendars, task management, and emails. They are all integrated into one interface! Best of all, my lists and calendars etc are all exportable, and uploadable to my Bb. Talk about efficient. This makes me happy!

So, learning this and entering all of the folks I already know is my next small mountain to conquer...along with timeblocking and 6 to 12 month planning for various landscape shoots / networking events that I want to plug into. Woot! More to come...stay tuned.
